Jonathan’s Very Own Concert - Gawsworth Hall, Cheshire
On Friday 21 August Jonathan is fronting his first ‘own’ concert in the magnificent setting of Gawsworth Hall, Cheshire’s open air theatre.
I attended when he performed there a couple of years ago and the surroundings are breathtaking. The audience grandstand is covered so no risk of being caught in a summer evening shower - not unheard of in the UK during summertime.
The evening is bound to be a sell out so may I suggest you book as soon as possible. Tickets are only £25 each. The grandstand accommodates around 1,000 and there are facilities for wheelchairs and those who have mobility problems.
Gawsworth Hall also has a lovely tea room where you can fill up with delicious home baking and the Richards family also encourage people to bring their own picnics to have in the grounds. Lightweight, foldable chairs could be beneficial to those who don’t like sitting on the grass or, like me, can’t get up once down!
The Old Hall itself is definitely worth a visit too and well worth the small entrance fee. I can promise you the afternoon/evening will be memorable and you may even bump into some Fantoines as they are travelling from far and wide to attend this unique event. There will never be another first Jonathan Antoine concert will there?
Please come along and support this exceptional young tenor whose voice will still be ringing in your ears as you travel home. I look forward to seeing you there!

You’ll Smile Back I Know You Will!
This photo, for me, is wonderful. Jonathan looks so happy and I defy anyone not to smile when they see it.
It was a post on Jonathan’s Facebook page last week. Here’s the full post for those of you who don’t use Facebook.
Thank you so much to Tara - as always lovely to see you atThe Box Hairdressing and she is just so great with those scissors! A big thank you to Unite UK for the wonderful products, their things are amazing as I've told some of you before! Tweet

A Treat For You - Va Pensiero
Of all Jonathan’s solos I think Va Pensiero is my favourite, but it’s difficult to have favourites when his voice turns any song into a breathtaking experience. Be still my beating heart!
He has yet to sing this publicly yet but I would so like to hear it live.
This super video was compiled by the lovely Sonya who deserves so much thanks for her many contributions. Tweet

The Insider Story - Continued
It’s been a busy few weeks for Jonathan as he prepares his choices of song for the album. He posted the above photo from a rehearsal with the talented Simon Lepper.

Yesterday he posted this photo of himself, along with the following message, recording at Sony’s Studios.
Just a quick photo from yesterday - you can see all the people in the studio - (me in bare feet, shorts and a loose shirt! - the previous time I was in jeans and too hot!) Such a wonderful time and great to share with all these people! I hope you're all having a great day! xx
He seems to be having a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoying this new experience recording with musicians instead of recording then having pre-recorded music added (as happened in his first two CDs). The quality will be so much better.

The Inside Story
Aren’t we so lucky to have Jonathan’s Mum Tracy and sister Charlotte keep us informed about Jonathan’s activities?
The above photograph was posted on Twitter yesterday accompanied by the following tweet:
Sharing a photo with you all, so different from previous recordings and very exciting! :D
Just updating you whilst Jonathan is preparing for the next recording session- some great sounds coming from the rehearsal room! :D Tracy.
As Fantoines we’re very privileged to be given such consideration by Jonathan and his family. We all know how fortunate we are, don’t we? Tweet

Jonathan’s Official Website
At long last Sony has launched an official website for Jonathan. You can see it here.
It’s by no means complete but Jonathan assures fans on his Facebook page that it will soon be full of interesting things.
This now makes my work on here redundant because I started this site to promote Jonathan on the internet and also to provide some information for those of you who don’t use Facebook and/or Twitter. Now you will be able to read all about him with just one click.
May I take this opportunity to thank the many thousands of you who have visited this site in the past few months and also the fans who contributed with their photographs and wonderful images.
I will leave this site online for historic reasons. In the years to come, when Jonathan is an internationally renowned tenor, some may want to look back to the beginning of Jonathan’s solo career.
Along with many thousands of fans, I’m excited about what the future holds for him and know he will be extraordinary in the tenor world.
Don’t forget to order your copy of his debut CD! Tweet

Phoenix Montage

A super montage of Jonathan performing last Saturday night at the Celebrity Fight Night event in Phoenix Arizona.
Created by the tremendously talented Sonya. She quietly collects photos on various Fantoines FB pages and puts them together for us all to see. Wonderful work. Thanks.

London - The Final Night of the Russell Watson Tour
Tonight is the Grande Finale of Russell Watson’s tour in the Royal Festival Hall, London and Jonathan’s now safely back in UK from Phoenix. Many Fantoines are meeting in London and some have travelled from as far as Australia and parts of Europe to join in the fun.
If any of you has ever wondered who organises many of the fan meetings, look no further than the person behind Jonathan in this photo. Yes, that’s Jan Smith, the Head Fantoine, or as we say here in Scotland ‘the heid bummer’. She’s usually a very demure, serious person who is highly organised. This is an example of ‘The Jonathan Effect’. Oh, it’s also her birthday today so Happy Birthday Jan.
Once everyone gets home after the celebrations tonight, there will be more photos to show.
Have a great time all of you and most of all have fun.

Calling All Tweeters
Isn’t this a happy photograph? I think it was taken by Bente’s husband Bjarge at the Katie Holmes Trust concert in Preston.
A fan Twitter account has been set up in an attempt to promote Jonathan and his tweets.
Can I ask all of you to add @TheFantoines to any tweets you make to him, then we can retweet them. Much appreciated.
I’ll put a link to the fan Twitter page in the right hand column >>>> then all you lovely readers can see what’s going on with one click.

Fantoine Map - Add Yourself
Some Fantoines have got together to create a world map on which fans can add their name and location.
No need to put your full name or exact address, just an idea of where you are.
This is the link to the Facebook page and this is the direct link to the map. If you have any problems please write in comments or email me. Tweet

Jonathan’s Scottish Fans Meet Up
Yesterday some Scottish Fantoines (Clantoines) met up in Livingston near Edinburgh.
One of the lovely fans made this super placard and the bagpipes actually play! I do hope she keeps it for future events because I doubt if anyone could surpass it!
I was there. It was a super afternoon with lovely people and all because the lady who made the placard had made the suggestion to meet.
Sorry I haven’t posted other photos but I haven’t asked permission of those who attended and some people don’t like to see themselves on the ‘world wide web’. I don’t because I look far too old in photos!
Hope this gives some of you an idea to meet with those around you. Tweet

BGT - A Magnificent Jonathan Performance
My favourite performance of Jonathan’s from BGT. It shows his ability to breath in all the right places. Magnificent doesn’t really describe it.
