Hello Glasgow!
This lovely photo was taken after Jonathan’s performance in Glasgow last Friday, 28 March. Isn’t it super? His sister posted it on Twitter and fans who use Facebook have been sharing it on that media.
The lovely Scottish fan Sonya managed to take this video and I thought you’d like to see it. Jonathan’s rendition of Una Furtiva Lagrima was perfection - no other word for it. I know you see, because I was there and wouldn’t have missed it for the world. He deserved a warm welcome to Scotland and I’m sure his Scottish fans didn’t disappoint. The weather in Glasgow was freezing though!

More Tour Snaps
You meet the nicest people at Birmingham Canal Basin....you made our day & you made our evening, your performance was fantastic xx
The above was posted on Jonathan’s Facebook page by Keith and Peggy Wagstaff. Rather nice of them wasn’t it? Taken during Jonathan’s trip to perform in Birmingham on Monday night.

Duet With J Estabrooks Available On Amazon
For those fans who wish to hear Jonathan’s solo with Jonathan Estabrooks, it is now available on Amazon UK for the sum of 89p.
Until now it was only available on Amazon.com which wouldn’t allow anyone outside the US to download it. Do hope some of you outside the UK can download it from the UK site.
I think it’s breathtaking, but see what you think yourself! Tweet

The Suit!!
It’s purple, a gorgeous colour and has a very snazzy lining (see below).
Jonathan’s sister Charlotte, tweeted the above picture of her brother ‘in action’ at Nottingham on Friday night.

Tour Excitement
As you all know Jonathan’s tour with Russell Watson started on Wednesday.
Last night he performed in Sheffield and his manager, Jonathan Shalit, tweeted the above.
The accolades were pouring in on Twitter and Jonathan’s Facebook page. The first of millions!
And tonight? Courtesy of Debby once again:

Pre-Tour Taster: La Donna e Mobile With Russell Watson
)
Jonathan’s tour begins tomorrow so I thought you may enjoy another video from the Preston concert, recorded and posted by Jonathan’s sister Charlotte. The ending is spine-tingling. I hope you agree.
Fantoines are in for such a treat in the coming weeks when they hear these two tenors. Jonathan commented on his Facebook page the other day that he may be singing a duet with Russell at the concerts. Many of us are hoping there may be more than one!

The Excitement Is Building
There must be great excitement in the Antoine household these days as preparations are made for Jonathan to tour with Russell Watson. He mentioned, on his Facebook page, that he collected his new suit on Tuesday. I wonder which colour he chose this time - perhaps a wine or maybe purple, who knows.
The tour starts on 19 March and the first concert will take place in Sheffield. I believe Fantoines will be at every concert supporting ‘our boy’ and hoping to say hello to him at the stage door.
His patience is exceptional on these occasions and he makes time for each and everyone.
So thank you Jonathan and may your tour be an outstanding success. Of that we have no doubt, have we Fantoines? Tweet

Happy Birthday Chris Needs!
Some of you may be wondering who is Chris Needs? Well, the lovely Debby, who takes the trouble to acknowledge birthdays on Facebook, has made this graphic and there’s an image of Chris in the top left hand corner.
Chris is a Radio Wales presenter who has a late evening weekday show called The Friendly Garden.
A charming Welsh fan, Ivy, determined to ensure Jonathan’s solos were played on radio, is a regular listener to Chris’ show and started requesting any of Jonathan’s solos. Chris kindly obliged and he’s been obliging ever since! Now he has requests and listeners from as far a field as Canada and Australia who make requests and listen in to hear Jonathan’s voice soar from radios and computers.
Chris is so kind to us Fantoines that I thought he deserved a post all to himself to wish him Many Happy Returns of the Day and may his birthday be as special as he is to us.
Many Fantoines regularly email national and local radio stations but seldom get a response but Chris is the exception. All we can do is keep trying to attract the attention of producers and/or presenters. Maybe Chris can put in a word with the powers that be in BBC land in London!
Happy Birthday Chris!

A Selfie
This is the photograph which had Twitter all twittering last week. It’s seldom Jonathan posts ‘selfies’ but I thought, for those of you who don’t use Twitter, you would like to see it.
He’s gearing up for his tour with Russell Watson, but it’s good to know he’s making time for relaxation too. Tweet

Calling All Tweeters
Isn’t this a happy photograph? I think it was taken by Bente’s husband Bjarge at the Katie Holmes Trust concert in Preston.
A fan Twitter account has been set up in an attempt to promote Jonathan and his tweets.
Can I ask all of you to add @TheFantoines to any tweets you make to him, then we can retweet them. Much appreciated.
I’ll put a link to the fan Twitter page in the right hand column >>>> then all you lovely readers can see what’s going on with one click.
